Full Stack developer

Hello! I'm Lily, a Full Stack developer with extensive knowledge and experience in React, Javascript, Typescript, Next.js, Node.js, PostgreSQL, SQL, MUI, AWS, Jest, etc... I have started my journey in 2017 developing web sites using HTML, Javascript and JQuery. Then I gradually evolved into Full Stack developer with JS skill set. Prior to web development I was engaged in automating accounting processes.

In 2022 I've started a new chapter in life moving to Australia. Now I'm a key developer in fashion industry startup in Sydney.

Experience

I helped team to unblock stalled development process. I solved critical frontend issues, reworked AWS code pipelines and resolved messed up NPM dependencies. This resulted in 40% cloud infrastructure cost reduction, because we were able to execute same workload on smaller instances. Afterwards, I have revised long lasting Stripe integration and brought it into production in two Sprints. Now project is stable and team is easily implementing new features for business.

I updated libraries, enhanced performance, refactored numerous problematic areas, implemented the payment system, worked with AWS, and provided assistance to the team through guides and code reviews. I helped team to kick start stalled development process. Initially, web portal was unstable and slow. Team wasn't able to deliver new issues due to huge technical dept. I started with solving several blockers, including broken authentication system and unstable release process. As a result, we stabilised our portal and AWS release process. Then, I have reviewed and updated style guide, onboarding documents and code review process. The next step was to solve performance issues, after carefull analysis I have identified and solved several issues, including misuse of Next.js routing, incorrect deployment configuration and dependency hell in NPM packages. As a result, we were able to deploy same functional on smaller instances resulting in 40% cloud costs reduce. Afterwards, I have revised long lasting Stripe integration. I have designed an integration plan, which was brought to life in just two sprints.

I worked on internal non-public projects for a pharmaceutical company. In my role as a software engineer, I dealt with complex frontend tasks and implemented various graphs. Additionally, I supported an internal React library, and I even wrote a DFS algorithm for rendering infinite nested rows.

Worked for a startup loan broker, supporting the website and internal platform for managers, where I automated form filling. Additionally, I developed a Python scraper to gather information about credit rates.
